As it was Valentines day at the start of the week I thought for my post today over on That's Crafty's blog I'd make a layered 'heart plaque' that is a project primarily based around 'paper crafting' with designer/ scrapbook papers. 

It's a quick and easy make that will allow you to showcase some of your favourite paper designs to create a piece of shaped art that you could display around the home or maybe gift as a token of love to someone you care about.

Wings of Love!

Hi Everyone,

I don't know about you but I'm loving alot of the new released products that have been hitting our art/craft shops the world over recently. So much so that I succumb to bagging myself a few, some of which are the new AALL and Create washi tapes designed by Bipasha BK.

These, along with a beautiful PaperArtsy stamp designed by Sara Naumann are what I've used to create my 4x4 Art panel/art card that I am sharing today over on That's Crafty's blog.

Heart and Soul

Hi Everyone 

Hope you are all doing good and keeping safe and well 😊

Just a quick  post here  today to give you the heads up that  I'm over on That's Crafty's blog in my usual weekly spot sharing my latest piece of creativity which is a mixed media tag. 

I used all the usual arty suspects: mdf and white greyboard surfaces, paints, texture paste, stamps and stencils to create detail, texture, layers and dimension. 

A cracked heart sealed with a loving 'kiss' seemed like the ideal focal feature for my somewhat 'feminine' colour palette.

A "Letter Caddy!

Hi Guys

Hope you are all doing ok and keeping safe.

On a similar vein to last weeks project (see here I you missed it ) today I am sharing another project that I have designed and created using That's Crafty surfaces: White/ Greyboard Tags, Craftyboard Bookmarks and Letters and Tim Holtz 'Abandoned' Papers. The project is 3D and I guess could be considered to be a piece of home decor like my 'Art dome' but this project is also useble as its a 'Letter Caddy!'

Use Your Wings...

Hi Everyone

Its Thursday so  its my day over on That's Crafty's blog. 

This week I'm sharing the project I created for That's Crafty's 3D Challenge feature that was in the June 2019 issue of Craft Stamper magazine

Some of the team created a 3D project using a That's Crafty's 4x6 inch MDF Chunkie.  Its size, design, quality and creative versatility is superb and it was a pleasure to create with and an honour to be asked to contribute to the 3D challenge feature.

Discovery Shield.....

New Year, New Pad....

Happy New Year Everyone

Hope you have all had a lovely time over the holiday period and that you are ready for the next 365, ok 363 given we are 2/3 days in depending on your geographical location. 

I'm over at That's Crafty today with my first weekly post of 2019. I always like to start the New Year with a new note/ sketch pad so I have made myself one using Alcohol inks with Yupo® paper and That's Crafty surfaces.

This time I have been taking a break from the paints and inks, dabbling instead in a spot of paper crafting - something I don't often do and I have to say I have enjoyed changing things up a bit.

Be True....

Hi Everyone and Welcome 

Thanks for checking in today.😊. It's my day of the week to share my latest creativity over at That's Crafty so I am hoping I can tempt you to join me over there with a quick glance at the project I have created using a Gelli plate print, along with some That's Crafty Surfaces, Carabelle Studio stamps, Dina Wakley Acrylic paints and some of my favourite dies and stamps by Seth Apter.

  

I'm pretty new to the Gelli plate so am still very much a novice with lots to learn but I'm enjoying practising and discovering a whole new way to create some great prints to use in my art aswell as plenty of not so great prints to discard to 'the bin'! 

From my latest Gelli print session I did get a few successful 'pulls' that I can see have potential, one of which I have used to create today's piece of 'Mixed Media Postcard Art.'
