Well, they were still on the table so why not, hey?
Today, I'm over on That's Crafty's blog , in my usual Thursday week spot sharing a small piece of mixed media art that I've created using That's Crafty! Surfaces, newly released 13Arts papers and Tim Holtz Ideology.
This is just a short post to invite you to join me over on That's Crafty's blog where I'm sharing a mixed media tag that I've created using That's Crafty! surfaces and some of Tim Holtz products.
The tag has a rustic feel and textural interest - some created with mediums, some created with just water and card.
I'm over on That's Crafty's blog today in my usual Thursday slot sharing some creativity.
This week I have created a 4x4 mixed media art panel that I've created working with a minimal palette of PaperArtsy fresco finish acrylic paints and some of Seth Apter Products including his PaperArtsy stamp designs. It has layers , texture and detail and is named 'Embrace'.
Today I'm over on That's Crafty's blog sharing a mixed media tag thats grungy and rusty but also a touch vintage thanks to a young chap called Samuel Everston who worked as a Trainee Manager in a mechanics workshop and was known to be a bit of a 'thinker'.
It's my usual weekly redirection post here today inviting you to join me over on That's Crafty's blog where I'm sharing some creativity.
This week I decided to pare things back and use only inks and stamps to create an art card that features three colourful quirky birds showing how easy and indeed how important it is to
Lift Each Other Up...
Think they've got it off to fine art , don't you?
Hope you are all enjoying your week and staying safe and well! 😊
As its Thursday I'm over on That's Crafty's blog in my usual weekly spot and this week I am sharing a card I have created using some of the new/ newer products to the creative market. Those products are some of Tim Holtz new distress colours in inks, oxides and sprays and one of AALL and Creates brand new stamp sets designed by Tracy Evans.
Hi Everyone and Welcome
Thanks for taking the time to stop by today. Really appreciate
As today is my regular day over on Thats' Crafty blog this post is not going to be long or detailed - just a few words and a photo of the fun and colourful card I have created and am sharing over on the blog.
Hope you are all doing good and keeping safe and well 😊
Just a quick post here today to give you the heads up that I'm over on That's Crafty's blog in my usual weekly spot sharing my latest piece of creativity which is a mixed media tag.
I used all the usual arty suspects: mdf and white greyboard surfaces, paints, texture paste, stamps and stencils to create detail, texture, layers and dimension.
A cracked heart sealed with a loving 'kiss' seemed like the ideal focal feature for my somewhat 'feminine' colour palette.
Hi There Everyone
As usual with it being Thursday I'm over on That's Crafty's blog.
I have a 'useful' project to share with you today that I have created using some of That's Crafty's fabulous MDF surfaces and stamps.
Just a short post today to let you know I'm over on That's Crafty's blog in my usual Thursday slot sharing some of my latest creativity.
The project I am sharing today is a layered mixed media art panel that was born from some leftover pieces I had lying around my desk from last weeks project ( see here) and some time 'well spent' gel printing. I say 'well spent' as I was pleased with all the prints I pulled, which all too often isn't the case!
So here it is....
Hi Everyone and Welcome
Today I'm over on That's Crafty's blog sharing a mixed media art panel that I've created using products from several companies and designers: That's Crafty!, PaperArtsy, Prima, Ranger, Spellbinders, SethApter, Dina Wakley, Tim Holtz and Finnabair. Quite a mash up, right?
Heres a couple of pics that I hope will tempt you to come join me over on the blog.
Happy New Year! to one and all
Here in the UK we are back in Lockdown so maybe not the ideal or chosen way to kick off the New Year but with every negative there's a positive, right and that means that for us who are fortunate to enjoy creativity we can look to fill the 'lockdown hours' engaging in what we enjoy.
So I've been back in my art space creating my latest DT project for That's Crafty! which I'm sharing today over on the blog . I've created a trio of Thank you cards in my usual mixed media grungy style using a mix of That's Crafty!, PaperArtsy, Carabelle Studio and AAll and Create Products.
Here's a peek of 1 of the 3 cards I am sharing over on the blog today....
